12/10/02 - PHONE
DIRECTORY- We are attempting to have a new Oak Ridge
Trails phone directory in everyone’s hands by the end of January. At
this point, everyone’s house has been visited, even though some
people were not home. If you have not yet received a form to
complete, stop by the Wayharts’ house @ 1540 Suzanne Ridge
Court. There are two manila envelopes on the front porch: one
containing blank forms and one for completed forms. We must have a
completed form from everyone, even if you are in the process of
moving. We can only get this directory completed if everyone
cooperates in the process. If you’ve misplaced your form and need
another, feel free to take another form. If there is anything you
would like to see added to the directory, contact Mike or Judi
Wayhart @ 273-6215. Click
here to download the form. Need by

Neighborhood Meeting Notes - Thanks to the 6 neighbors who attended
last month's Meeting. Some information discussed included
future Landscaping Plans for the common areas (Ameren easement and
last cul-de-sac), Recent improvements to common ground,
Neighborhood Directory, Financial Situation and
Assesments, Continuing contact with Ameren UE, and Indentures
Enforcement.
We are hoping to highlight
Indentures on a monthly basis as well as answer Most Commonly Asked
Questions.
|
Here are some questions that were asked
during the meeting:
What do assessments pay for?
Common ground maintenance, neighborhood electric (street lights,
front lighting), Landscaping Improvements, Liability Insurance,
Sprinkler system maintenance, Water, Postage, Mailings, and Administration
Fees (City and Village).
What areas are mowed
regularly? Common ground was established by the builders and has
continued to be maintained. Grounds around front entrance,
cul-de-sacs (if grass), area surrounding the pond, Ameren UE
easement, and grassed areas along Vintage Oak Dr.
What is
being done with the Ameren UE easment? Initial plans are in
place to have burmed areas created with many trees and shrubs on both
sides of Suzanne Ridge Drive. Plans have been discussed to further
improve that land with a small path, benchs, wild grasses, flowers, and
bird houses. Any improvements beyond the burms will not happen
until the spring.
What is being done for potential problems
with snow removal? It is our plan to have a private snow removal
company on retainer if the city does not get to our sub-division in a
timely manner on snow days.

Morgan. _______________________________________

10/10/02 - New Trustees Elected: New neighborhood trustees were elected at the neighborhood
meeting held on 10/10/02. Three new trustees will assume duties
immediately with a short transition period from the outgoing
trustees. Many thanks to the former trustees (Brian Cattaneo, Steve
O'Connell and Tom Levinson) for all of their hard over the past several
years. Many projects were accomplished including: Increased roadway
signage, Cleaning up the pond, supervising the landscape improvements,
lobbying on behalf of the community against AmerenUE, and managing the
financials. (See
